Has anyone tried the LED taillights conversion for the Escape?

Do you mean retrofit LED bulbs, or the entire tail lamp assemblies, like these?

Both will work, but you'll need load resistors to slow down the flash rate.
A few members here have done the conversion for the Depo lights. You'll need to modify the wiring near the tail lamps, and replace the amber bulbs in the assemblies with #921 bulbs, which will be used for reverse lamps.
