I will try to keep this brief.
I have been having liftgate trouble for about A year. It does not want to work to lift. I am on my 3rd acuator and 3rd button. It will work for a short time and then very intermittent. Now nothing. I have 12 volt supply.
Now… lift gate does not want to close properly. Have tried a 3 actuators. does not latch solidly.
Any help please??

No. It is inside about 80% of the time. I replaced the window seal last year, hoping that was my problem

The actuators you purchased were OEM Ford Motorcraft? There is this one member here that had problems with non-OEM actuators. And I advised him to install an OEM

I have both. Just ordered a new genuine ford part. Also have an appointment for next week at dealership. I had hope of avoiding them but I’ve hit a wall of this new part doesn’t work.
