If Ajax's grille doesn't work out for me (JP's on the case...) I was hoping to get this and powdercoat it black like Ajax did. The grille is a little expensive, but it will give me the look I want. I was wondering if anyone else has a grille like this one? If so, do you know what "cutting" would need to be done? That's the only part of the description that scares me...

Ok Thanks JP.

Do you think I would be wise to buy a separate grille and assemble everything off the car? It would be a little more expensive but at least then I would have a back up in case I mess something up...

If you don't find it to be the effort maybe I can use his grill on mine.... :WW
Go for it Scooter. If I still do it, I'll be going the legit way and getting the correct one for my model year. Good luck, can't wait to see pictures :)

Ok so now I really want to do this the legit way and buy the correct Lund grille for my model year: $107. Then I want to powder coat it gloss black (like Ajax's): $80. I am planning on buying a separate original factory grille from ebay in case I mess something up: $50. Thus the total would be somewhere around $240 to do this. A far cry from Ajax's offer of $80, but atleast I know it will work. I wish I could get the second factory grille free to save on cost. No one has one of those laying around now, do they?...

What do you think?
