That was the FIRST mod I did to my Escape as you can see in my sig. Love it! The styling alone was worth the money. Where did you buy yours at? I got a pretty sweet deal on Ebay for mine.
So I first tried e-mailing Lund twice....I never got a reply. I call them up and explain my situation and without any hesitation the lady asks me to send her a digital photo of the bug shield with my name, address, phone number, year/make/model and model of bug deflector and they will ship me a new one free of a charge. The best part is....I don't have to send it back! EXCELLENT customer service! :thumb:
I was just looking over your posts/pics. Those look great!!!..
I want to get a deflector that uses screws to hold it in place, not the ones that used double sided sticky tape. We get lots of snow and real cold up here. So I want to be able to take it off for the worst of winter.
Do the units you installed attach with screws??
Inquiring minds want to know??
Mine installs with push screws. When you push them they lock into place. You can remove them no problem with the proper tool. If you don't have the proper tool you run the risk of breaking the push screws but you can always buy more of them.
