Hey guys you seem like a great source of knowledge so ive come here..

First off,
I have a ford escape 2008 Hybrid and it's not very good looking. I'm 16 and want to change the look of it entirely. Here is a shot of it as of now,

It's plain and boring. I've taken the time to install window visors and also have gotten the windows tinted.

I've been looking around at escapes on here and they sure have the potential to be cool. For instance Escapedtroy has one of the coolest and I want to get the same wheels he has. The Incubus Paranormals. I want to order them now however i'm unsure if they will fit the 5-lug on my escape. I need to know this before hand does anyone know?? I've called the place 3 times and sent the company a message but no reply. Here is what they look like:

So that is my first question... Will they fit!!?? :taz:

Second,
Another thing i'd like to install is the black grill that is an option for the Limited Escape. I think this would look great on my vehicle HOWEVER, I've yet to find a place online that sells these black grills!! Does anyone know where to get one or would it be easier to just powdercoat mine! :wacko:

Also as you can see on my escape. The trim that runs below the doors is shoddy and makes the entire look of the car change... Besides using Mama's Back-to-Black each month to blacken it up i'd like to change it.. .Can you remove it and put running boards in place of it? Or just put the boards over it and allow the chrome from the boards to distract you.. Hmmm DOES ANYONE KNOW!!

I've installed these already into the door panels in place of the cheap stock speakers.

and also put DAMPLIFIER PRO into the door panels for deadener

I'm planning to install a PIONEER AVIC-U310BT
however i havent found what im going to do yet because i want to have a subwoofer and tht means ill have to purchase an amp as well.

As far as looks go, I found one of the most eye catching mods I did besides tint was HID lights. I think they would look especially hot on your truck becuase its black on black w/ tint. Throw some HID headlights and foglights in there and it will add one hell of a look at night.

I'm thinking you need to forego the black grill. Your car will look like one big black blob. You really don't want that do you. Maybe get some more chrome in the form of a kit to fill in the openings of the grill. Check out Colleen's avatar. As for the rocker panels, having some matte black on the bottom isn't bad, but I wonder if they are paintable to get the gloss finish that I am thinking you are looking for?

One more thing, wear out the search function looking at things that others have posted up. Lots of mods available. Or at least many more than last year.

Looks good so far and beautiful setting even in if it's in a driveway. For looks, I like the black rims not too big and heavy as it will look a bit silly and hurt handling - like the ones that are on "H4XOR" scape would look good IMO. You can always add a rear spoiler, step bars and a shorty antenna for the quick upgrades.

Cloud-rider.com has black inserts at around $340.00. If your Escape does not have a stock subwoofer, you want to pull one of the rear cargo side pieces to find out if there is an"opening" for a subwoofer to fit. You need to know what size and whether an amplifer could fit in this area. One can also use the space below the rear cargo floor or just put a powered subwoofer under the seat. Good luck. I don't know how someone your age can afford everything.

Well the limited has an option to come with it..
