This device is a satellite communications dish, at the ' MAWSON LAKES ' university campus. The picture is not too clear, because it was at this time, that my lens filter started being grubby. I was not aware, but the uni security people notified me, that photos on campus grounds are prohibited. They didn't take the situation too seriously, because there was an ever so discreet calm expression. 
I obviously remained sensible, but for the inner self it felt quite amusing. It must have been obvious to uni security, that i was an old fart pursuing my photo hobby. We chatted to each other for five minutes. Basically the conversation went like this: Security ' What are you doing ? ' Me ' I am pursuing my photo hobby ' Security ' What of ? ' Me ' That satellite dish over there ' Uni security ' WHY? Me ' Well, i have allways been interested in technology, and it seems like a good subject to focus on'
University security personell ' Well, you see it's like this. We don't know who you are. It must be obvious to you, that in this day and age, there are all these problems with national security and whatever. The world has changed unfortunately. It's quite natural for people, to be concerned about their welfare. These are university campus grounds. They have different regulations. One of them is that photos are forbidden. Well at least you now know how it is. '

After this, i packed up my gear and drove off. Me an espionage agent? :lol: :lol: But i do respect, that they had a job to perform. Glad the uni security people, were not overly serious with me. There was an ever so ,very discreet smile upon their faces. :lol: :lol:
