im looking at purchasing a new laptop in the next few months and im debating just buying XP and buying a computer with no operating system. i havnt priced any out yet. but the actual computer should be less if i buy it like that eh??

ive ordered 3 different computers all from dell. sight unseen. and have not had a problem yet. knock on wood i havnt needed a repair after the warranty was up LoL.

im typing this on a newer toshiba, with the 64bit ultimate and im getting used to it, but i do miss xp, this thing will get getting 4 more gig of ram when i can afford to buy the 4gig sticks. but have you tried just putting in a 4gig memory usb stick? you can set it up to boost your PC,
