Ok so we just got our escape, and we're kind of curious as to what kinds of mufflers you guys are using.

In my experience with v6 engines, they can sound pretty raunchy if the system isn't 'just right'.

What I'm going for is to open up the system, but keep it kinda quiet, and not lose any torque. The vehicle is pretty peppy now, but things are always better when the engine can breathe.

I'm thinking of a Borla.

Borla, Gibson, Magnaflow should all be OK. I've heard some clips with the complete Gibson catback, and it sounded pretty good on the V6.

I know this doesn't help, but I have a Magnaflow on my V8 (4.6 3V) Sport Trac, and it's music to my ears.
