Hi everybody, here's some photos of my new 2010 Escape XLT V6/AWD!

I included a lot, because I love pics.. and I know you all do too! :)

Quick intro:

We're a Ford family, but as for Escapes.. We've owned 2 in the past - a 2007 hybrid (traded w/ old F-150 for 2009 F-150) and a 2007 xlt (which we still have, snapped one photo of it in the garage). I joined the site a couple of weeks after ordering my Escape while trying to find more specs/pics of the 2010 since the dealer only had one in stock with few options on it.. and have been lurking ever since. My head might have exploded if I hadn't found this site! I was lucky enough to find some pics of the Escapes with SAP to know exactly how mine would look (minus the 2010 additions). Thanks for getting me through the awful wait period while my Escape was being built!

Anyway here are the pics, enjoy! I'll post more pics as I install my mods.

I'm glad your head didn't explode.

Just too handy to do without! Especially when taking pictures. ;)
Me too! Hopefully my pictures will help save somebody else's head from exploding too. lol

I failed to mention that the piano black interior parts goes really well with the charcoal interior upholstery. Makes it a real looker.

Our Tribute has the piano black, but the interior color is a khaki. Not as good an overall effect. Then again, I specified the lighter color due to our living in TX, and it helps keep the interior a couple degrees cooler. :thumb:

Yeah I like how the entire vehicle follows the black/red combo, with hints of chrome here and there. I can understand the khaki/tan for down there, especially on the seats! (OUCH!) But up here I'll only have to worry about it in the summer.. and I can leave the sun roof open to let some heat escape! (no pun)

Thanks! I love this thing, turns heads everywhere (or maybe it's just me!.. nah can't be, nobody looked at me in my Escort until my muffler had a hole in it lol) but I actually caught a girl at a traffic light taking pictures of my ride a few days ago! She was in an earlier model escape... So if you know who you are and you use this [awesome] forum you must identify yourself!

^Cool -- did you get her number?

I've only snapped a few cell phone pics of other cars while driving. Most are for humor -- because we all see them every day :hyst: . However, I recently let a Lamborghini Murciélago catch me on the highway -- just so I could see it and snap a pic. :D

You LET a Murcielago catch you? I think he could have caught you without your help! :D

But nah, I didn't get her number. That's why I said she had to identify herself if she was on the forum lol - I also couldn't have put my window down because that was the day I installed the in-channel ventvisors and the windows need to be up at least 24 hours to ensure that they stick correctly.. in fact, I don't think I've had my windows down yet....

Right back at you! The pics of your Escape were the only sport ones I could find after I ordered my car so I could get an idea of what it would look like (and with the red/black combo to boot!) - so thanks for helping get me through the awful 2 month wait period while my Escape was being built!

Hey glad this got bumped, sweet ride. I didn't know about the sport appearance package till I seen people here posting pics of it. If by some chance I'm lucky enough to get another Escape one day I would like to have one with that package.
