Hello,
Last year somebody installed a DVD/Navigation system (see below) for me but it seems to be going a little crazy lately and so JVC want to me to send it to them. Does anyone know how I would remove the system? Also do I have to disconnect the battery first?

see this thread. http://www.escape-city.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4037 the guy did a great job at showing the tear down and theres a couple post in there about some difficult situations others had taking it apart.

usually it is recommended before you do anything related to the electrical system (lights, radio, etc) you disconnect the negative terminal
