Just went to a good sized car meet and great for the local Subaru forum I'm on, had about 100 people there. Didn't take as many pictures as I was hoping, the batteries died on me, but I figured I'd share them here. I rocked the Escape there, of course.
Here's one of the Escape, you can see it in the background:

The tall car all the way in the back is an Outback XT and has about the same amount of ground clearance as the escape. I thought that was a little crazy. All I know though, is that I want one.

I seriously considered getting one from a dealer in town but then I heard they were moving to the highway so I decided to keep the Escape.

Nope, just outside of Portsmouth, NH at New Asia chinese food place buffet. Though I am from western MA myself, greenfield area.

I really DO like the front end on the 9-2x. I wish the hood fit on the Subarus. I was trying to talk my roomate into doing the front end swap, he has an 04 WRX wagon.
