Sorry, I didn't want to bother anyone with a dumb question but............................... I serched and tried to find the answer but it seems that my searches have drawn a blank. I just purchased a 2011 Escape XLT V6 two days ago and was too cheap to add the sync option and now wonder if that was a mistake. My question is, using the line in jack for my iphone i was told i can play music but can you use the phone? Or what are my other options for using my iphone through the audio system, what do you guys use?

Thanks Dasha, I'll be taking some pictures as soon as I clear all the snow off of her, and once winter clears I hope to get some good ideas from this site and start the mods.

I think you are going to be limited in what you can do. Other than the line in, I don't think there is much that you can do (I don't have an iPhone though, so I'm not 100% sure). You'll be able to play anything on your phone, but I'm not sure how phone calls work when you have the line in connected (will phone call sound still go through you car spearks?). I don't think it would, and if it did, you may get a lot of feed back on the other line.

Just some thoughts, again, I do not have an iPhone to verify any of this.
