Got a new Magnaflow catback system, 2" in and 2.25" out. Sounds great has a little rumble not a v8 rumble and not a ricer rumble but a nice tone, lets you know its there. At 1000 to about 3000 rpm you can here it, drops out about 3-4 grand. Once it gets to 5500 and up it kicks back and rumbles and screams. (I'll recheck those #'s, but thats a round about)

Thats not rust on the muffler, its clay from a puddle I ran over

So you went with Magnaflow, and you like it. thats great to know. I still havent purchased my Gibson and I think i'm going to stick with the stock. However, :) since your happy with the Magnaflow and they are much easier to find around here, things may change. :thumb:

Yeah I knew I would get a magnaflow long ago. Product speaks for Itself. I recommend it to everyone. Couple people here bought the system and heard nothing but good.

No sound clip I can try this weekend, but Im not big on that cause of all the extra dirty noise that goes with filming outside. Ill try to find a garage and try.

Looks nice! I wish that MBRP made exhaust systems for these vehicles...I'm sure they'd sell tons of them since they are one of the top sellers of exhausts for Focus' here in Canada (MBRP is in Huntsville ONT).

Let us hear yours!

Soooooo tempting.

I was going to meet with the Heartthrob guys here in Litchfield to see if they could do some funky dual exit system for me.

I wanted dual but the dude sat there and looked at the exhaust for a minute and couldnt find a way to make a dual exhaust on the AWD with the spare tire. I still think there is a way but might be a tight fit.

Guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed! Maybe it'll have to be something silly and ... fake? haha

I have a Magnaflow muffler on my 97 Dodge Avenger Hahn Stage 2 Turbo car and I love it. Much quieter with the turbo.
Looks like you had the shop make the pipe for you and installed the muffler (rather than buying a complete cat-back made by Magnaflow)

How does it feel on the "seat of your pants" dyno?

Gibson makes a good truck exhaust. What did you pay for it?
I was concerned the pipe diameter was really small up front (1 7/8") but that probably preserves a lot of low end (at the expense of top end)
Oh, forgot to mention I was looking at the specs for their 2002 2.0L specs. it would be different for yours. My mistake.
