Figured I would post some progress as its made for those interested over here! You all have already seen the amp I will be using for this, and I am still waiting on the funds to buy my sub.
Here goes the box build, here is a mock up of what it will look like. ( I have alot of sanding to do before I put it together!)

I think my work is blocking all the images. But the D2 is a nice sub. Once I get my new house I'm going to have garage to start my fiberglass work, i really want to make some cool custom shiz. resin isnt as pricey as the amount of wood people waste building boxes, its just the labor of building fiberglass boxes and time. but once you get good im sure u can build them extremely fast... especially if you build your own molds.

What size wire are you running? I'm running 2/odd welding cable and it is sooo hard to hide that... are you running down the middle or side? Nice work though!

even when doin a fiberglass install you still need to use some wood... and fiberglass is way more challengin than wood is but i would also like to learn to do it someday... just dont have the time or equipment right now to tackle the challenge..

its 1/0 welding cable and yea it is hard.. i have the 2 runs and i brought it threw the firewall and than under the driver seat carpet,, than across the backseat floor and than under the backseat carpet to where you see it comin out at... i had to take the drivers seat out and the back seat and it was still a pain in the a$$ to do

I don't have any pictures as of yet, but I have 2 runs of 2/ odd welding cable from the battery to the back of the truck, I was running 1 12" type r when I was competing in street A, but now I think I'm going to run 3 10's and the ama 2 class (in Canadian SPL leagues) or street B, but I'm still building it up. Have you had any time to meter with and without the sound deadening? I have quested whether or not to dive into it and do the back...

Ok cool! Because I needed a first hand answer, I run for a shop that is a dynamatt supplier, so I might go that way just for the price discounts, good luck with your build, cant wait to see some numbers.

I'm impressed...you are building a box that is internally braced, you are using carpenters glue and countersunk drywall screws...that's the way to do it! None of that brad nailed junk I've seen...

Got any updated pics yet?
