Hi guys jamie , new here. I just traded in my 2019 3.5 eco f150 for a 2017 escape titanium 1.5 fwd ecoboost do to family issues . I have also had a 2010 taurus sho . I love the ecoboost motors and they have treated me well. All the vehicles have had bolt ons and tunes with some looks thrown at them . So really my question here is . Has anyone lowered their escape ? Tuned a 1.5 ?

I have in my cart a set of godspeed lowering springs and have heard good things on the brand but have not came across anyone that has had them installed on a escape . Just curious on how hard it may be and what tips to take .

Secondly , i know my tunes on the 3.5 really made it wild . I know for a fact the tune and the power of the 1.5 will never reach that of the 3.5 but has anyone ran a tune on their 1.5 ? I'm lookin into just doin a racechip gts on it that way i can go back to stock if need be. They are claiming a gain of up to 52hp and 53lbs of torque w a 20-30% better mpg . Just wondering if it's worth the $450.00.

Thanks alot and look forward to talking with you all

Welcome to the City!!! We are glad you joined us!!!
I have owned two Gen 3 Escapes (2013 and 2016 Titanium trim with the 2.0 L EcoBoost engines) so I have no experience with the smaller motor.

Don't bother. It's a small motor and can only do so much. Any tune you will be hurting it. As per the factory recall with the antifreeze issue, as far as i know they turned the boost down. You really don't want to push it.
