Anyone know where I can find some nice-looking and decently-priced chrome or chrome+black rims or wheel skins for a 2010 Escape hybrid? (16")

Eventually I want to upgrade to actual wheels and bigger tires, but that prob won't be until next tax season.

Please & thanks in advance!

What are u wanting to spend? To find fairly priced rims you would have to ebay or craigslist. There you could find new or used rims and/or tires. Or you can go with new at tirerack.com or discountttire.com

@ oskerb:

Well I was hoping to keep the price as low as possible, which is why I was asking about hubs and wheel skins as opposed to actual wheels. I saw these:
http://www.slickcar.com/productdetails. ... ctID=11169
and on a different site it said they were supposed to fit the 2010 Escape hybrid, but when I emailed slickcar.com they said they won't fit. :(

I guess I'm just going to have to wait until tax season and get the "real deals."

OH ok those wont fit but I know what ur after. My buddy bought some CLADDING for his dodge nitro and they were cheap and looked good when Installed. What your looking at Is the same thing that the limited escapes have for premium wheels CHROME CLADDED WHEELS. they are just "hub caps" look on eBay that's where my buddy got his. Ill look too when I get home.

Oh LOL...see that's why I need advice from people who know wtf they're talking about, apparently I don't know the difference between "rims" and "hub caps."

So "rims" are actual wheels that the tire sits on, etc, and "hubs" are just attached to the rims, right?

I think I get it now! I always just thought they were different words for the same thing! LOL.

UPDATE:

So yeah, went to see if they fit and didn't get to the "try-on" part, apparently he did some research online and it said the bolts were off by like .5 mm or something like that. I figure that and the amount of money I'd end up spending in the end to get the rims, have them refinished (a couple had road rash on them), and new tires, wasn't worth it LOL.

Maybe next tax season I'll get some new ones, but I probably won't go bigger than the 17's like they have on the Limited Hybrid.

Thanks again to everyone for your suggestions!
