i have an '03 es v6 tribute the lighting behind the Odometer doesnt work? so i can't see what gear I am in, nor the mileage at night...please help.

You'll need to replace a burnt-out lamp in your instrument cluster.

This may sound silly, but try tapping on the display. When I bought my Escape in December 08, that's what I had to do. It has worked ever since.
