So I subscribe to a section(s) of the forum but when a new post happens I don't seem to get notified. The existing post come through fine. I don't want to have to subscribe to every new thread. I think I have things set up in the control panel/board preferences to receive notices to new post but it doesn't seem to be happening.

User error I know, :spank: but how?

Try to click on the forum that you want to subscribe to, then see if there's a "subscribe" link and a checked checkbox. If this is what you see, this means that you're NOT subscribed to new posts in this forum.

The checkmark isn't an indicator. The link next to it is. Click that, and when the verification window redirects you back to the forum list, you'll see that the icon is now an "X" with an "unsubscribe" link.

I should probably develop my own icons for this, too, since it does seem like it's backwards... or maybe just switch the icons!

Please let me know if this does or doesn't work.
