Hey,

If anyone is around, I have been patiently waiting for better gas mileage on my 2013 Escape SEL 2.0 4WD, I am just about 4800 miles, had my oil changed, pretty much all the things I was told to wait on to see an improvement. The only improvement is that I am fueling on summer fuel now, but its still way off where it should be. At these numbers I could have been driving an F150, 8 cyl. I would appreciate some assistance. I am aware of all the normal things and have taken them into consideration, ie: driving habits, flat roads, E10 fuel, tire pressure, etc. I have driven slower, faster, but not seeing any positive outcomes yet. I know I am not the only one with this issue with this powerplant set up. :bill: :bill:

My 2013 2.0 FWD gradually got better mileage at 4-5k miles and remains doing do. I use premium gas not just for the increased horsepower with the Ecoboost Turbos but I get better mileage with it. Around town/start stop driving effects the turbos' mileage greatly. Go easy on the turbo at starts. Under 70mph on the highway with constant or semi constant speed and your mpg will continually climb. On my Escape with mixed driving and hurried morning communtes followed by leisure drives home, I am getting just under 24 mpg and generally find imrpovements everyday.
