Granted I’ve spent hours reading through Bob The Oil Guy posts however.. what is y’all’s preference for the best oil to run in a 2nd Gen Ford Escape V6? Currently I’m going with Castro GTX Full Synthetic. Also, I’m at 159,000 miles.

What you are using is a good choice in my opinion. When I had my Gen 1 and my two Gen 3 Escapes, I tended to use the Motorcraft Synthetic Blend oil. None of my Escapes had the mileage you presently have.

Mobile One high mileage has the most additives and keeps velocity longest.

bro, I ran Walmart brand full synthetic 5w-20 in my 2009… Never had an [email protected] I run Wally World synthetic two-stroke in my toys… Never had an issue.

still do on the 2020.

The best oil is the oil you change with recommended maintenance frequency.

personal opinion… The only reason to run expensive oil is if you race… Or don't change your freaking oil
