I'm at work tonight. My co-worker is talking about putting step bars on his Honda Ridgline.

His truck is silver...

And he is thinking of going with BLACK step bars... I think Chrome would look much hotter on his truck.. what do you all think?

I just installed polished stainless steel today on my silver Escape, so that would be my vote. But of course, the owner of the vehicle gets the last say since they are the ones who will have to live with it. Black would be my second choice :)

ooops.. my bad.. he has the dark grey..

I think that would look even batter with silver. The black will disappear in the the dasrk paint..

I think when they choose black, this is what they want to achieve.

Chrome sidesteps to contrast with the grey.
Just my preference, but then everyone sees things differently.

I think I would prefer the chrome with the darker gray, but just sightly. With the silver, chrome would be too much. With the dark gray, the chrome would be a nice contrast (like stone says) and would work nicely with the metallic wheels in the photo...
