YaHoo isn't the best resource, but at least they don't have anything to gain by posting their findings. Unlike some car magazines claiming to be unbiased and they are totally biased due to advertising. Good to see the 05 rated and respected. I should also mention that others still rate the E/M/T very highly and Consumer Reports basically says that it is a better more reliable package now than ever before.

I suppose we could go a step farther and include all of the 2nd gen E/T/M's in this praise. :thumb:

Then we would have to include the 1st gen because if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be here.

And THEN we include the 3rd Gen Escapes 'cause their the latest and greatest. :yahoo:

 I collect brand badges. I have a Chevy from my old Blazer (RIP :( ), a Mercedes from my friend, an Acura one from a wrecked Integra, and a Mercury one from my friend's old Grand Marquis so far :D

Going for the used or new badges? I have a couple used badges from cars that we owned in the past a grew attached to the car due to all the things we did in it, or places we traveled together in them.

I just got the new Consumer Reports Auto Issue. The Escape is considered a "best buy" used vehicle in a few price categories. Model years between 2002 and 2005. The older ones they recommend (02 and 03) are only the Front Wheel Drive models but still nice to see :)
