I have my roommates Wii running through our wireless router, a LinkSys Wireless-G router and it works pretty good so far. I plan on getting a PS3 in a month or two and linking that up as well. Anyone try putting and OS like Linux on your PS3 yet? There's aonther thread on here about Ubuntu Linux, and I have an article from Popular Mechanics about installing Linux I can scan and post here if anyone wants to see it. Just curious...

Basically, loading Linux (or Windows or Apple's OS) would make my PS3 a regular computer, meaning I can surf Escape City from my plasma screen and leather couch lol. All you need apparently is a wireless mouse and keyboard and an OS and you're rocking! I don't know how the Sony graphics card would handle any intense gaming software but for basic computer functions (web surfing, Office, music etc) it should make a fully functional computer in my living room. Then, when I sync it to my desktop's hard drive I can access my music and pic library etc.
