There have been questions posted here pertaining to how to disable PATS, alarms systems and other safety/security devices on Ford vehicles. These questions will either be locked or deleted. If you have concerns over these items then it is recommended you go to a Ford dealer to have these resolved.

Way off topic but....Mr Charles have you tried E-cigs? I got two different brands and they just don't satisfy me. After 35 years of smoking I reckon I will finally quit at my funeral.

Back to topic though.I wouldn't try to modify anything on my Escape, Ford pays a engineer for that. I burned up all my wires on a mercury thinking I was a smart guy. 800 dollars later I learned my lesson. And then the wife scolded me for two weeks. I Still cant figure what went wrong, The wife or the dough?

PS..I wished everyone would quit smoking , That would leave more for me :bic:

Wee Bee did you ever try Chantix? I been thinking about it but I heard you can have serious mental issues while taking it.

No, when I quit I used Zyban. It worked, but with some side effects.

Good for her! I know how hard it is. But I'm now at 22 years without a smoke. Stick with it.
