Does anyone else have a problem when editing posts that contain parsed local URLs (links to other pages within Escape-City)?

For example, 'http://www.escape-city.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=145' becomes 'viewtopic.php?f=24&t=145' after submitting the post, but that changes to just a non-linked 'viewtopic.php?f=24&t=145' after I edit.

It's been doing that since day one. phpBB doesn't like to open new pages or tabs. They try to adhere to "strict" HTML/CSS standards, which don't allow popups or new pages/tabs.

I may upgrade the board software sometime this week, since we're behind by about five minor revisions. That might fix the link-disappearance problem.

Was there a mod added to get some links to pop up in a new window? There might be a fix on the mod page over at phpbb.com.

If you're updating the board over my spambot concerns, I'm trying a new method on the registration screen. Otherwise, I think there have been changes to the search algorithm and other improvements, so it might be worth it if you have the time and we have a backup.
