I have the radio bezel/trim for a non-navigation Ford Escape in Piano Black. I tried last night to replace my silver trim, but I ran into a few problems: couldn't see anything, broke a screw, and lost another in the process (my friend will admit to both screws being his responsibility :D )... so I am giving up and will be looking to see it here on EC and also on eBay. I did pay quite a bit for it ($100; I negotiated with someone on eBay to take off the radio and sell me the trim only), so I'm looking to recover as much as the cost as possible.

According to what looks like a price tag on the rim, the price if/when new is $164 and change (a local dealership quoted $210  )

Thanks!

Here is the direct link to the auction. If you're interested, $50 through a EC discount takes it!

I pulled the center stack out... and found it rather difficult to get anywhere, and part of the reason I gave up also includes uncertainty and being a complete rookie at this kind of stuff.

I was able to remove the lower center module (sync, traction control) and the radio, but I didn't have a torque wrench to keep going (you need it to remove the support chassis for the radio)

eBay auction starting tonight; URL to be provided when auction goes live!
