random p0430 4-5 yrs total now, with cel light prob 3-4 times a year

Code came up shortly after purchase, basically ignored it cos it never stuck, as in repeatedly coming back right away.

Mainly just showing an example of how this code can play out, had a goog (random p0430) & pretty much found zilch on it.

i'll be adding info as it comes up or develops from here

Started with 130k klicks & now up to 170k 04/v6

In checking it out, ran across all kinda info, dunno if correct but 'doesn't take much of a cat issue to set off a code' & folks have tried many fixes, including soap & water cleaning.

Understand there is a ton of p0430/20 specific info out there, but i found very little info on a random scenario, then mine has gone on 4-5 years now, likely even before my purchase.

My focus here is, what is the cause, of a random p0430 scenario, which i may never actually get to, unless the p0430 comes up again, right away, after clearing codes.

Should also mention , retired a few years ago hence daily driver changed to here & there.

Prob, something like, or as minor as a wonky 02 sensor, could trigger a random p0430 code.
