I have a 2001 Escape. The door panels rattle all the time. I made sure all the clips are there, and not broken. But they are still rattling. Any ideas? Would some foam under the panel work??

It could be a screw loose on the panel, could be something behind the panel. I'd take the panel off, tighten everything behind it or see if anything like cable ties or something could be rubbing or banging into the panel, then carefully reattach the panel and see if it goes away.

I wasn't sure where it was but at the next traffic light I opened the glove compartment, pushed some stuff around and closed it. The rattle was gone after that...

Well after a few days i happen to push up on the moonroof slide cover and thats what it was..Funny how sound seems like it's coming from one area, but actually is coming from another..
A drawer below the passenger seat?!? I wish I had this on my old '01.RobtRoma said:Is there anything in the drawer below the passenger seat?
