there's a button on my rear view mirror that turns off every light on my vehicle

any idea why it's there and what it's used for?

I don't have that button in my 03, nor do I remember any mention of one in the manual, other than map lights there. I want that button.

Yea I bought it used, it was a private owner, not police.

Why would they offer that feature?

Same on mine. Haven't touched my headlight switch in months. I love that feature.
