Recipe for a beer cocktail.

Take half a pint of beer. Add another 1/2 pint of beer.

Ta-da!!!! Beer cocktail. :beer:

Not sure if my subject title is correct. Fill a pint glass full of beer. Then very gently position a thimble with brandy or whiskey in it, on the surface of beer. It must not sink immediately.

I think the idea of thimble container is for this, whiskey or brandy to slowly disperse into pint of beer. That depth charge certainly performed it's desired effect.

Sounds very similar to a 'Boilermaker'. Drop a shot glass of Whiskey into your pint of beer. Doesn't have the slow dispersion characteristics of your thimble technique, but the end result is the same............Alcohol poisoning. :stifle:
