I'm not sure of the name of this recipe, but NeAlvey called them "Dasha's Cookies" so that's fine with me!

Dasha's Cookies
Ingredients:
1 Box of Ritz crackers
1 package of chocolate bark
Peanut butter (creamy or chunky....I've always used creamy!)
Optional: Assorted sprinkles, white chocolate bark

A yummy peanut butter/chocolate treat : put a dab of peanut butter between 2 Ritz crackers and dip into melted chocolate bark. Make and dip as many as you want. Let cool on wax paper. During the holidays I drizzle melted vanilla bark on top and add sprinkles. Very easy and scrumptious! Tastes like a gourmet cookie!

This is one of my FAVORITE dishes and it has guests begging for more! Try it, you'll love it!!

Chicken Rotel Spaghetti
4 chicken breasts
1/2 stick margarine
1 c. celery (chopped)
1/2 c. green bell pepper (chopped)
1/2 c. onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can Rotel (drained)
1 c. diced tomatoes (drained)
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
8 oz. cooked spaghetti

Put chicken in saucepan and cover w/water. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat and simmer 25-30 minutes.
Cube cooked chicken (well, I just shred it). Boil spaghetti in reserve water from chicken.
In a separate skillet, melt margarine and saute veggies and garlic until tender.
Add soup and to sauteed veggies.
Add Rotel, tomatoes, Velveeta, and chicken. Mix until cheese is melted and is mixed well.
Mix in cooked spaghetti then transfer to a large baking pan sprayed w/Pam.
Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly.
Serve w/french bread and salad.
Sooo yum!! :p

Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients

* 3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
* 1/3 cup melted butter
* 1 cup sugar (can easily reduce to 3/4 cup)
* 1 egg, beaten
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* Pinch of salt
* 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

Method

No need for a mixer for this recipe. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). With a wooden spoon, mix butter into the mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour last, mix. Pour mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool on a rack. Remove from pan and slice to serve.

***I added a sprinkle of cinnamon to mix and my loaf was ready in 45 min. so monitor the baking time. It came out soooo yummy!! No leftovers.... :( Oh, and you could add walnuts to this mix if desired.

Haven't tried this yet, myself, but my recently wed niece back in Mich posted this on her Facebook and it sounds good/easy. Since I am a 33 years married non-cook who's trying to step up to the task, I love good/easy.

1 can of apple pie filling on the bottom of a 9x13 glass pan, pork chops on top, and stove top stuffing mixed with 1 1/2c of hot water. stir and spoon on top of the chops, cover with foil, and bake at 375* for 30 min. take off foil cook for another 10 mins.

Can't wait to try it and surprise Mrs GE.
Sounds yummy!!! And Mrs. GE is sooo lucky!!! :heart:

Omg, I never saw your post about you making cake balls, J!! They sure are to die for!!!

Anyway, here's my recipe for cake balls...

CAKE BALLS
1 package of cake mix, any flavor
1 can of cake frosting, any flavor
Vanilla or chocolate (or both) candy coating bark
Variety of sprinkles, toppings

*So you just make the cake mix, like you are making a cake..in cake pans and everything.

*After it's baked, let it cool but not completely. You want the cake still warm.

*Crumble warm cake into a mixing bowl. Add some frosting to cake crumbs and mix in. (I used to use half a can of frosting, but the cake balls seemed too moist so I use less than half a can. The more you make them, the better idea you'll have of the consistency you want)

*Roll the cake n frosting mixture into balls. You can make them as big as you want them. I've made them 2 bite size and 4 bite size. :D

*Cover cake balls and stick them in the freezer for a couple of hours. You can even freeze them overnight. The freezing helps the cake balls stay intact when you dip them in the warm bark.

*Melt candy coating bark in microwave. Dip cake balls in bark and make sure they are covered completely. Lay cake balls on wax paper or foil to set.

*While bark is still wet, you can put any sprinkles you want on the cake balls.

*After bark has hardened, eat and enjoy!!

Here are some cake and frosting combination ideas:
Chocolate cake and chocolate frosting
Chocolate cake and vanilla frosting
Red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting (really nice for Christmas and Valentines)
Spice cake and cream cheese frosting
White cake and chocolate frosting
White cake and vanilla frosting
Lemon cake and cream cheese frosting
Strawberry cake and strawberry frosting
Funfetti cake and vanilla frosting
Combinations are endless....

Topping ideas
Any kind of sprinkles for cakes/cupcakes
Nuts
Chocolate chips
Toffee bits
Chopped candy bars
Cookie crumbs
Etc.!!
You can also just leave the toppings off.

The ones I made were chocolate inside with chocolate frosting and I dipped them in both chocolate and vanilla bark. I had some dark chocolate Ghirardelli squares that I cut up and used as topping as well as toffee bits. I then drizzled the vanilla bark over them.
