¼ cup vinegar
½ cup water
½ cup ketchup
1 large onion finely chopped
¼ cup dark brown sugar
¼ cup butter
1 Tbsp liquid smoke
1 Tbsp mustard
2 ½ Tbsp lemon juice
¼ tsp celery seed
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp cloves
Mix everything together, bring to a boil for 10 min, reduce heat simmer 20-30 min, when cooled bottle and refrigerate.
