hey I was wondering if anyone has had any expereince with a remote mounted radar detector? Iam looking to sell my whistler detector cause i just dont want anything else hanging on my windshield, my gps is enough!and would like a detector i can mount behind my grill and have the warning info etc. mounted inside my truck somewheres, please let me know the good,bad and ugly about these types of detectors thanx Dino

Not in Ontario they don't. Get caught with one, plugged in or not, and it meets a sledgehammer.

They're legal in Saskatchewan.

I found this to be a pricey but effective radar detector. I want one too. If anyone else can find a cheaper and effective radar devtor please share.

yes they are legal in sask, mine has saved me more than once thats another reason for a remote detector is that it is more conceiled than a window mount Dino
