I was wondering why you would have to get the roof-rack if you ordered a "Sport Appearance Package" with a sunroof. My thought is that the Escape would look sportier without the roof rails/rack. Then I realized that perhaps the screws holding the roof rack might also be supporting some of the structure used for the sunroof. Can anyone verify this?
I guess that if there is anyone with a sunroof, but no roof-rack, then my theory would be wrong.
