Hey gang, quick question(I hope).
We recently acquired a low mileage 2023 Escape Active. We have subscription to SiriusXM and were looking to activate it on the new car.
I first looked online to see if this trim level included Sirius. It normally does, but it noted that sometimes this option is deleted on fleet vehicles (we bought this from a rental place). I tried to use voice command to tune to channel 0 to get the radio ID, but that didn't work. I looked under "source" in the infotainment system, but Sirius wasn't listed there either.
I finally assumed it was deleted from the options when the car was ordered by Thrifty and stopped thinking about it. Until today when I got a flyer in the mail from Sirius stating that we had a free trial of SiriusXM on the new Escape. I would have just tossed it but it included the Radio ID! Which suggests that car indeed does have Sirius.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go in the Infotainment system to locate the satellite radio controls?
