Sorry about that. I had a memory stick fail on the server that runs this site.

That's the first memory stick that's ever failed on me.

Well that's something new to me as well. I've worked with servers and other computer equipment for about two decades! Glad you figured that on out!

When I got into the office, that server was doing a looping reboot. It would get up to the Windows Server 2003 screen and then reboot.

Safe mode told me nothing, so I tried removing all of the memory (two 2GB sticks of Kingston unbuffered ECC DDR2 800) and booting with each stick. One booted, and one didn't.

I had a recent backup of the site, and I was just about to do a Windows repair install when the second stick worked by itself. It'll work fine on 2GB for now.

Sheeesh.

Thanks JPark. :thumb: My initial guess was that ,some type of maintenance was being done.
Sometimes my ISP has periodic glitches.
