...next to the ones I put on earlier this year  I couldn't help but laugh at the size difference. It looks like I've got the donut on it.

Whoah, big difference! What size did you move from -> to?
I went from 225/70-15 (stock) to 235/75-15. Basically, it is the same dimensions (height/width) as the stock 16". I just wanted to fill the wheel wells out.
Why'd you downsize? If you're gonna keep the stock size you ought to lower it so it fills the wheel wells.
Wait, no, I upsized. That's the new tires shortly after they got delivered. I hadn't installed them yet.
nice upgrade! did the change affect the fuel consumption and any improvement in ride quality?
thanks
Sorry it took so long for a reply. Haven't had access to a computer for a while. It threw the speedometer off by +/- 3mph, however, gas mileage didn't seem to suffer. If anything, it helped. I average between 19-21 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the interstate if I behave. Not bad for 115,000 miles. Ride quality didn't suffer at all. There is slight road noise, but at 50mph or higher. Nothing bad at all.
