So I had my Escape parked at my sister's fiance's house. We went out to eat, and when I came back I see this:

It put a huge dent on the bumper, buckled in the fender and the headlight is pointing down a little bit. It was a hit and run and I don't think it is worth turning into insurance...I literally started to tear up when I saw this happened and the person at fault didnt take responsibility. I'm tearing up thinkin about it right now...:(
I feel your pain, as look at the damage done to my Maverick a few weeks back by our next door neighbours 25 year old :censor: yob (sorry, son) :cuss:  , after he bricked my car when he was yet again high on heroin, not content with mine, he attacked several other cars on our street, it took 6 police officers to arrest him :BB2 :BB2 :/:/ :stop: :spank: :BB2
I have 10 years no claims on my insurance, so I'll fill / respray it myself when the weather gets a bit warmer :cuss:

Went and go an estimate today. A buddy of mine has a friend in the business. The estimate for a normal consumer was $917...he will do it for me for $656. Not too shabby of a deal but I am gonna get some estimates down in my hometown too to see what they can do. :('
Seems a bit extreme does that  , how long did he quote for the downtime?
I would try to fix it myself at that price, if the paint on the bumper hasn't cracked, it should just pop back out with gentle persuasion, and a little heat. ;)

I think I'd be having words with that yob's parents. make them cough up the money for repairs. If they're not responsive, maybe 'somebody' could throw some brake fluid over their car one evening or something. ():)

Did you get to press charges? You might get some money back through the courts.
Thanks, BigChris, "it's" mother is an ex-prostitute, father unkown, so no luck in pursuing that avenue :censor: :cuss: :bang:
The police charged "it" with criminal damage, but the court fined "it" £20.00, which, because "it's" on benefits, he pays £0.20 per month.

Time to move methinks! :)
Thats the main reason why I got the house in Scotland,( other than the cheap house prices up there!) to get away from all the inner - city trouble we have in Leeds.
Would live up there permanently but for the following reasons...
Very few jobs up there..
No internet access...
Its a 120 mile round trip to the supermarket :shock2: , and McDonalds!!! ( the wife, you understand ;) !!)
crikey, we don't even receive normal television reception, so have to make do with Sky TV :bang:
Not all bad though, last year we got mains electricity :yahoo: , and mobile phone reception

If we lived where there no internet access, my wife would divorce me. You see, she is kind of addicted :bag; to the internet that is.
And you're not addicted then, to the internet, or even this site??? ;) ;) ;) :worry: :hyst:
Only joking......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
