So I had my Escape parked at my sister's fiance's house. We went out to eat, and when I came back I see this:

It put a huge dent on the bumper, buckled in the fender and the headlight is pointing down a little bit. It was a hit and run and I don't think it is worth turning into insurance...I literally started to tear up when I saw this happened and the person at fault didnt take responsibility. I'm tearing up thinkin about it right now...:(

Thanks for all of the warm thoughts guys. I'm still very saddend by this. I have already spread the word around and will continue to have people ask around. This happened in my hometown so I can't go around and investigate myself as I don't live there anymore...but I will try to figure out who it is.

Went and go an estimate today. A buddy of mine has a friend in the business. The estimate for a normal consumer was $917...he will do it for me for $656. Not too shabby of a deal but I am gonna get some estimates down in my hometown too to see what they can do. :('

The dent actually popped out by itself today while I was at work. Probably the sun beating on it today. You can see the scuff mark and there is another defect in the bumper. The biggest damage is the fender....he said as soon as you pull the fender back out it will crack the paint and the whole fender needs to be repainted.

Well I took my truck into the body shop today. And for a rental they gave me an Expedition...I got from the smallest SUV Ford makes to one of the largest lol. Anyways Geico has been really great with this. They said it will take about 3 days to get done. All I have to pay is my $500 deductible and they will take care of the rest. They even asked me if there is anything else wrong with my car. I told her about a scuff on the rear driver side door that looks like someone rubbed up against me...she said they will take care of that too!! I was shocked! :yahoo: So far this has been a good experience other than me having to pay $500 :(

Man that sure would be nice though. If I could add just a normal directv box up to my double-din and it only cost me an additional $5 a month for the extra box :)

She is doing great! She went to her checkup and she has 1 hair on each eye growing right at 12 oclock inside her eyelid...but they arent bothering her eyes which is a good sign. If they start bothering her the vet said that there is a new procedure that he would like to try on her that he said other vets have done with success. I'm game for letting him try it as I didn't see any huge risks included with it.
