Fuel injectors, or maybe the fuel filter? At high speed, those things kick out fuel like an angry horse, and if it's only a high-speed thing, then it would have to be something directly related to engine speed/combustion. Vague, and I'm only an amateur, but that's how my logic is serving me today.
Sputtering while driving
My 01 Tribute V6 just started doing this today. Once I am up to cruising speed, 70-80km/h the truck starts to sputter sporadically. It doesnt do it non stop, just does it every couple seconds kinds thing. Any ideas? It doesnt throw any codes, and I even drove it around with DTC mode on so I could hope to see the code when it came on, but nothing. Starts fine, idles fine, accelerates fine.
