Welp, the strut brace arrived today. Looking forward to installing it and hoping the results aren't all hype. Before installation however, I am going to repaint the metallic blue ends, to the dark metallic green my Escape is. :)P
If you're anywhere near a cloverleaf test your new tower brace on it, you'll find the handling improvement on those to be the most noticeable :thumb:

Good luck with it! Do post some pics of it

I couldn't wait to paint it... So I installed it tonight before the rain storms rolled thru. Took a tad longer than 10 minutes to install, but not by much. Was raining too hard to test it out this evening, so will be testing in the morning. :thumb:

No pics. No photo bucket account and no desire to get one. Just seems like too much work. If anyone wants to see, and or host, let me know and I'll email them to you.

One thing I like about the brace is on one side it says Escape City. That is the side showing now, but if I don't want it too, all I have to do is just unbolt it from the end caps and turn it over. :shades:

Looking forward to trying it out! I'm like a kid on Christmas morning! Wait... ;)

I still look forward to pushing the limits of my E through a cloverleaf. In my 32 mile round trip commute I have 6 cloverleafs to do, so I know what I'm talkin' about

Well, I have to disagree that it is most noticeable on cloverleafs. At least in my experience. It is extremely noticeable in virtually ALL curves.

The one word I have for this mod is 'WOWZA!'. What a GREAT mod! Well worth the investment for sure! VERY pleased with the results. This thing corners now like a Mustang/Vette/Porsch, etc...(not really but DANG! it sure seems like it!)

Another highly recommended from this user!

Thankyou to my beautiful wife for my Christmas present that will surely continue to give thruout the year!

EDIT - Oh yes...And it DOES help on the rural, dirt, pothole filled roads as I expected. Glad now I didn't let Madmax talk me out of getting one based on my assumptions, earlier.

You really are a butthead, your wife must be a saint

 Merry Christmas! :peace:

Man, oh man! I LUV this thing! I have a 'S' curve to go thru to get to my house and the strut bar has made it a straight-a-way now! I can zip thru at 60+mph where as before doing 50mph was dicey! :stop:

Crazy that the curves I once hit the brakes for, are now nothing to fret about. :woohoo:

This truly was a great suspension mod and highly recommended!

Oh yes, cloverleafs are zipped right through as well... :thumb:

To kafai...Well Done, sir!

Well give it up for Kafai again, for just making the deal so easy and such a comfortable transaction.

we all get a little nervous sending money over sea's but it really helps to have all the positive feed back on EC and that Kafai is so quick to respond to PMs it is fantastic service.

Thanks EC and Kafai! :yahoo:   Now I can't wait to get it and put it on. Waiting period.
But I have enough other projects happening with the Escapaa' right now.

No need to worry about Kafai, no one here ever had a negative experience with him :thumb:

Not to mention the fine product he makes

What does a strut bar do exactly?

Did you read through this thread? You'd have a pretty good understanding of what it does if you do. It basically combats body-roll and improves handling , an inherent problem with CUVs.

Just saying I do feel the difference with this installed , especially with the little lift and larger tires , it defiantly has a positive impact on handling ! :thumb:
Yuuuup!
