Okay so my subwoofer was working great. Power lines down one side of truckand av cables down other side.

But now that i installed interior leds and have them running through whole truck, anytime i turn them on or off my sub pops. Also adds low pitched humming wen they are on.

I just tried re-running the av cables as far away from other 12v as i can and also re-sanded ground point. The subs sound better with the new av cables but it still pops just as bad... Any ideas on a fix?

There is no popping wen interior leds are left off..

They are probably adding a back-EMF spike. You could add a diode to the circuit to stop the back-emf.

At http://www.bcae1.com, I searched "back EMF" and found that in the Relay page there was a good bit of info about that.

i have my remote wire controling one relay and a switch controlling the relay for interior lighting, you think i should try a diode on both lines?

*i have a relay panel with 8 relays (including these two) and for some reason when i tap on ground connection for all those relays it makes sounds in the subs also.. im going to solder that connection now as i didnt have a chance to at the time, and see if it helps..

Could be a bad ground somewhere, allowing for voltage potential through ground. Noise-city that way.

Also make sure that head unit is FULLY Grounded. Maybe double-grounded. One in the harness, one on the frame of the HU.
