Thanks.

yes surfscape is correct, even thought mtx shows it to fit 01-04 escapes with abit of modding it will fit very nicely in a 05 -06 escapes, I just love the way it sounds, movies give crazy bass that will make you feel it in your chest,, and it installs on the opposire side of where the stock sub would be, actually i have bothe the stock 8" and the mtx running, at the same time, you cant realy hear the stock one very much but it does add some bass to the overall sound stage, you realy cant go wrong with this setup, hope this helps Dino

Thanks for all the information. So I can choose between a 12" or 10".

Also, where do I place it (Which side). And also will i have to take the one plastic part out and replace it with the thunderform?

Thanks again.

mine is a 12" sub they all will be for the escape,it installs on the drivers side, on a 01-04 escape all you would need to do is pop out the little plasticstorage insert that is used for tools. maps etc. and then the encloser will slide right in tight against the inside of the plastic panel, anchor it down and you are doe, but with an 05-06 not as easy! you will need to pop out that plastic insert as well but also cut out a fair bit of the rear plastic panel towards the bottom of the panel before the mtx encloser will sit properly and then anchor it down with the supplied brackets etc. when all finsished you cannot even tell there was any cutting done to the panel at all,but the bad part is if you want to sell your escape and want to take out your system you will be left with a hole that you ended up cutting to get the sub to fit properly, unlike the 01-04 escape therer would be no evidance of a sub even there once removed, but to me cutting the panel was a more than fair trade off as the quality of the bass is excellent, hope this didnt get to long winded lol anyways if you have any other questions just ask and i will do my best to answer, by the looks of it in your info your escape is an 06 correct? if so you will need to do what I have done to get it all installed Dino
