Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum and to audio myself. Since you guys seem rather good at this and I’m not, why not ask you guys for help. I have a tcloc2 line output converter, I understand the rca cables part. But the other free wires to connect to my factory stereo I’m unsure of, what cables do u need to cut to connect the to the tcloc2, and what goes to what. I have a 2012 Ford Escape limited. Thank you

You wouldn't cut any wires.

You would probably want to find left and right speakers to the rear, splice this into those, and ground the 2 grounds.

I think this is applicable to your 2012:
left rear
+ white/green stripe (to white wire of the TCLOC2)
- brown/orange stripe (to white/black stripe wire of the TCLOC2)
right rear
+ brown/white stripe (to grey wire of the TCLOC2)
- brown/blue stripe (to grey/black stripe wire of the TCLOC2)

I'm pretty comfortable with wiring but opted for a premade harness and would do so again in a heartbeat....literally plug and play (and reversible). Works great, no problems...haven't thought about it for a second since putting it in:

PAC audio line-out converter with intermediate breakout harness

If you're able to return the your TCLOC2 I would call the crossgrade easily worth the time it'll save you
