Hey everyone,

As some may recall, I have slowly been adding chrome accessories to my 2010 Escape XLT. My inspiration for this was the Chevy Equinox LTZ - it has the full chrome package, and in my opinion, it is well done. You can see it here: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=che ... FA&first=0

I have tried to emulate the results on my Escape with the following mods:

- Chrome Wheels
- Chrome door handle covers
- Chrome roof rack mod
- Chrome mirror covers

Here are the pics:

I need some honest opinions here folks - too much? just right? I don't plan on adding any more exterior chrome, but I will remove pieces if they make the car look "ghetto"

I really like it! I think it is just right. Love the chrome mirror covers. That is very unique.

It looks great. everything flows with each other... from the door handles to the mirrors to the roof rack.

Excellent job.

I've seen plenty of dealerships equip Limited-trim Escapes with dealer-added chrome door handle and side view mirror covers. You're OK. I'm not choking on anything yet! :lol:

It's hardly tacky.
It's very tasteful.

I was hoping this was a poll. :lol:

Chrome isn't my thing, but it looks nice if you like chrome. I don't think it's tacky or gaudy, you done good. I still hate chrome clad wheel covers though.

Not a fan of chrome or the fake plastic chrome either, but it looks good and not overkill.
