I can't believe I found this before Prowlie, especially since it was on the same page as the article on black cars.

I hope that they put the interior back together before the cars are delivered.

If the production cars have the tight panel tolerances of the hi-res pictures, that car is a winner.

Sorry to disappoint, but as an "insider", I saw the pictures a month ago at the DC car show, but was sworn to secrecy until the unveiling (today at SpaceX in CA).

I may go to the highfalutin unveiling next week in DC, but I really don't like going downtown (but maybe it'll be worth it to meet Jenny or Megan or Jenna or Burt or Dustin. Then again, there may be POLITICIANS there - they do keep them in DC, you know). I still haven't decided if I'm buying a first-year Model-S - only 1,000 to be produced, I get a $10,000 discount, but who knows how much they're pumping into the "Signature Edition".

BTW, my roadster arrived in CA yesterday from England - should be 1-2 weeks to finish (like put the motor in), 1 to 2 weeks on a truck, and then IT ARRIVES AT MY DOOR!!!

Fantastic... as they say, it's the Tesla for the rest of us!

A $50,000 EV sedan that seats seven, has a 500-kilometre range, and does 0-100 km in just over 5.5 seconds. This is where some of those dollars for automakers that the government is doling out needs to go.

Congratulations on your new roadster prowler. :) That's a very big and clear photo. Glad my laptop has a 17" screen. Even so i had to scroll around a bit. Anyway the size of photo does not bother me.

It downloaded quite rapidly, because i am on ADSL Broadband. Also i recently changed my plan with the local server. For a slight increase in fees, the provider configures a bit more increase in speed. He explained it in layman terms. But some of it went right over my head. Anyway it was something technical.

I like the model badge on the car bonnet. Something like, the correct piece of jewellry to give it a final touch. :) :thumb: :shades: To summarise, that is a nicely shaped car you have there prowler. Interesting shape they chose for the bonnet. Side profile has a good design. This also applies to the rear end. Everything looks harmonious. :)

I was looking for a certain online picture, but couldn't find it - with the hood raised, a full-frontal shot shows that it's actually 4 "fins" mounted on 2 rails. Here's a picture from behind, but I'll keep my eye out for the other "see-thru" photo:

SHOCKZZ?

FARADAY?
I would think that NIKOLA would be insulted (or are you saying "FAR A DAY", as in range?)

and isn't "SPARKZZ" the more colorful, fireworks-like version of "SHOCKZZ"??

Brings to mind a time when I slipped with a large channel-lock into the breaker panel - there was no SHOCKZZ, but LOT OF SPARKZZ (and one melted Channel-lock.

Now that you bring it up, I also had occasion to check into a hotel, turned the switch on the small chandelier - and it started sparking like crazy, melted through the wire and crashed to the floor. That time, there was SHOCKZZ in addition to a shower of SPARKZZ, I had a nice burn and the ER was concerned about "where's the exit wound". Hmmm, are you TRYING to make me have second thoughts about an electric car???).
