For those businesses that have a need for a lighter duty van than the Econoline.

Chevrolet has windowless HHRs for the same purpose. They have about half the space of the Transit Connect.

we got the landrover freelander and discovery (ford's cousins) in a 'van' format - sans windows - and also the nissan terrano which was sold as the previous gen maverick in the uk but an escape/mave would be interesting

What kind of platform is that built on? The Taurus X/ Freelander? It must be a small-ish platform since it has the old Zetec 2.0.

Transit Connect? I think it is a modified Focus pan, but the balance is/was dedicated to the Transit. :roll:
