Is it worth a watch?

Is it just a serious version of 'Psych'?

The main character has a knack for reading people, such as when they're lying. He feels guilty about something that will be revealed in later episodes, and because of that he helps solve crimes for "CBI" which is like the FBI but only for California. He used to be one of those "I can talk to your dead grandma" psychics.

I've been following it and I like it; he drives an old Citroen which looks unique next to the government-issue Chevys. We have another similar show here called 'Lie to Me' which I like better because it shows you and explains the involuntary facial expressions, but I'm not sure if you get it over there.

What they said ^^^. Mentalist is one of my favorite shows. :thumb: It's kinda hokie at times, but an absolute escape from the daily drill. That's why you would watch the telly, right? Same for me, so for me, it's great. The lead is an Aussie, and he was recently voted the sexiest man on TV by TV Guide magazine...if that means anything to you or your wife. :yes: :lol:
