i have some 17 inch wheels with 275/60R 17 tires and i was wondering if they would fit on my 2009 escape. is there anyone else out there running this size tires? does it rub in the wheel wells when turning? will it effect my truck seeing that its only front wheel drive?

Depends on the bolt pattern. Where did you get the wheels from? THe size, besides the unkown bolt pattern, seems to fit right.

they are old stockers from my mustang, same bolt pattern and everything, im just worried about the tire clearance

You might get some rubbing on the front subframe rail when you turn close to lock. Put them on and give them a static test. Don't move the Escape, just turn the wheel while keeping the car stationary. Get out and have a look see what, if anything is being touched by the inner tire.

I think they might be a tight fit, i run 245/65 on 17, and they dont rub. try what Jonas says
