Recently went for a short little pleasure cruise. Clocked up about 600kms. I ventured over to the country town of ' Kaniva' which is in victoria. They do not have district councils over on that side of the planet. :lol: A council region over there is known as a ' shire '. :shrug: Kaniva is in the western wimmera region of victoria. Henceforth it is under the jurisdiction of " Western wimmera shire".

I the sth.aussie magpie citizen ,drove over to the former penal colony via: Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend, Yumali, KiKi, Coomandook, Coonalpyn, Tintinara, Keith and Bordertown.

Sheesh! Sounds normal to you, but for me, totally foriegn... :shrug:

So how long did that drive take you, and how many folks live about in those shires? I don't know much about the down under (I know typical myoptic American), but it sounds a little bit on the wide open.
